• One of the most crucial responsibilities urologists assume is the education and training of future members of our specialty. This responsibility has become increasingly difficult to fulfil due to a number of influences seemingly beyond our control. The purpose of this review is to summarize some of the challenges facing urological educators in Canada today. Some solutions to these challenges are offered. Where applicable, supporting data from current educational literature are provided.
